The summit, running from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., will feature keynote panels, breakout sessions, networking opportunities, and an Inclusive Resources and Connections Expo. Discussions will center around making Philadelphia a more inclusive city for people with disabilities, focusing on education, employment, health, housing, and access to information & services.
Additionally, the event will empower the disability community to participate in the 2024 election by amplifying their voices to political figures and the public.
Special Olympics Pennsylvania, the event's host, provides year-round training and competition in 21 Olympic-type sports for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The Eagles Autism Foundation, State Representative Joe Hohenstein, and various other organizations committed to inclusivity also support the summit.
