Special Olympics PA to Host Cities of Inclusion Summit at Lincoln Financial Field

PHILADELPHIA, PA - On October 10th, Special Olympics Pennsylvania will host the 2024 Cities of Inclusion (COI) Disability Summit at Lincoln Financial Field. This free event, presented by the Connelly Foundation, aims to create a more inclusive Philadelphia by engaging disability advocates, service providers, and community members.

The summit, running from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., will feature keynote panels, breakout sessions, networking opportunities, and an Inclusive Resources and Connections Expo. Discussions will center around making Philadelphia a more inclusive city for people with disabilities, focusing on education, employment, health, housing, and access to information & services.

Additionally, the event will empower the disability community to participate in the 2024 election by amplifying their voices to political figures and the public.

Special Olympics Pennsylvania, the event's host, provides year-round training and competition in 21 Olympic-type sports for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The Eagles Autism Foundation, State Representative Joe Hohenstein, and various other organizations committed to inclusivity also support the summit.

Register for this impactful event and contribute to a more inclusive future for Philadelphia.
