Philadelphia’s craft pioneers are marking the week with exclusive releases that highlight the technical artistry of the region:
- Coffee Italian Lager (Dock Street Brewery South): Philadelphia’s first craft brewery is unveiling a limited specialty cask beer. Built on a base of their Italian Futuro Pilsner, this lager undergoes a secondary fermentation conditioned with coffee beans and vanilla. Attendees can visit the South Philly location for a complimentary 6oz specialty cask pour starting Monday, April 20.
- Busted Bicycle Saison (My Local Brew Works): This 8.8% multigrain farmhouse ale is a heartfelt tribute to the late brewing community icon Christopher “Lappy” LaPierre. Crafted with barley, wheat, rye, and orange blossom honey, the beer features a dry, peppery French saison profile.
- The "Lappy" Remembrance (Monk's Café): Visiting brewers and friends who missed the original commemorative brew day are invited by the MLBW team to raise a glass of Busted Bicycle Saison, available exclusively on tap at the back bar of the world-renowned Monk’s Café throughout the conference.
