During his years as a sous chef at El Rey and Vetri, Jimenez realized that his Mexican roots were missing from the Philadelphia dining scene. The chef, who had emigrated to the U.S. at a young age, wanted to expand his horizons as a chef and help his family support itself. While working in Philadelphia, Jimenez also landed his dream job at the highly-regarded Cantina La Martina.
The restaurant serves a wide range of Mexican fare, including quesadillas, tortas, enchiladas, and other traditional favorites.
