During his years as a sous chef at El Rey and Vetri,Jimenez realized that his Mexican roots were missing from the Philadelphia dining scene.The chef,who had emigrated to the U.S.at a young age,wanted to expand his horizons as a chef and help his family support itself.While working in Philadelphia,Jimenez also landed his dream job at the highly-regarded Cantina La Martina.
The restaurant serves a wide range of Mexican fare,including quesadillas,tortas,enchiladas,and other traditional favorites.
