New Immersive Experiences for 2026

This year’s "Cirque Du Blobfest" promises to be more theatrical than ever, introducing several fresh ways for the community to engage with the slime:

  • Friday Night Immersive Screening & Run-Out: This reimagined take on the legendary theater "run-out" features a pre-show led by a ringmaster. The screening itself will follow a Rocky Horror Picture Show-style format, encouraging audience participation throughout the film.
  • Dîner en Blob: Inspired by the elegant Dîner en Blanc tradition, this "crimson" twist invites guests to a secret location dressed entirely in red. Attendees bring their own dinner, drinks, and tables to transform the space into a sea of red for a night of ghoulish fun.

A "Big Top" Film Lineup

In keeping with the circus theme, the Colonial Theatre will host a variety of themed screenings alongside the original The Blob. The 2026 lineup includes:

  • Dumbo
  • Clown in a Cornfield
  • Big Top Pee-Wee
  • Killer Klowns from Outer Space
