Registration for the Maker Series program opened on January 8, 2024. However, due to the overwhelming demand and the limited number of seats available, prospective participants are encouraged to secure their spots promptly.
In addition to the Maker Series, NextFab has recently introduced 23 individualized studio spaces tailored to creative professionals, artists, and makers. These studio spaces are accompanied by a Full Access Standard Membership, which grants unlimited access and many benefits across all NextFab locations. These private studio spaces offer a dedicated and private working environment, complete with storage space for materials and products, allowing makers to devote their full attention to their creative endeavors. Additionally, the provision of a dedicated business address adds a touch of professionalism and enhances the credibility of makers' enterprises.
To further contribute to the vibrant artistic community in Philadelphia, NextFab North has partnered with Mural Arts Philadelphia to create the Climate Justice Mural. This awe-inspiring mural aims to shed light on the climate crisis and its significant impact on the region. To delve deeper into climate justice, NextFab will host the Climate Justice Initiative Workshop on January 11, 2024. This workshop, organized in collaboration with Mural Arts Philadelphia, will allow participants to explore the Haudenosaunee Thanksgiving Address and its relevance to Indigenous worldviews and movements.
