La Fête de la Citrouilleis the latest in an ongoing French-themed culinary series at Old City’s acclaimed contemporary French bar and restaurant.The French AF Series allows Kearse and his team the opportunity to experiment with a wide variety of classic French ingredients, regions, and techniques while offering food enthusiasts a one-of-a-kind, exclusive dining experience available for one-night-only. Keeping in line with the autumnal season, Kearse’s La Fête de la Citrouillemenu highlights the traditional,much-loved fall vegetable – pumpkin – incorporated in unique,thoughtfully-prepared plates. 

“The French AF Series allows us to experiment with our favorite seasonal ingredients and flavors,with pumpkin being one that we couldn’t wait to showcase in various ways," said Chef Christopher Kearse. “We’re especially pumped for La Fête de la Citrouille as this is the first installment where we’ll have a sommelier on-site to go into detail about each wine and how it pairs well with the pumpkin plates.”

Guests experiencing this exclusive tasting menu can opt for wine pairings hand-picked by revered sommelier and Founder of Celerier’s Cellar, Matthieu Celerier, for an additional $65/person. Celerier will be on-site for the duration of the evening to guide attendees through each wine, course-by-course. Forsythia’s La Fête de la Citrouille Event is $90 plus tax and tip.
