Chef Chance Anies of Tabachoy Takes Over Volver

PHILADELPHIA - Chef Jose Garces is proud to continue his award-winning Chefs in Residency Program and introduce the newest Chef in Residence, Chance Anies of Tabachoy.

Chef Anies will use the unique opportunity to support and spotlight and elevate the profile of Filipino food while raising seed funding for a brand-new brick-and-mortar restaurant and supporting his particular charity Hope for Kids. 

 

Chef Anies residency starts at Volvér on Kimmel Cultural Campus on November 15th and runs through January 8th. His unique dishes will be added to the Volver menu, and Chef Garces' new Portuguese-inspired season-long dishes will be joined. 

 

Anies' menu will include Lumpia, Pandesal, Embutido Meatballs, Arroz Caldo, Short Rib Kare Kare, Pork Munggo, Pancit Palabok, Pinakbet, Leche Flan, and Turon.

 

Through a special donation program in partnership with the Garces Foundation, each Chef in Residency can raise money to support their work with their current restaurant or to use it for the start of their next culinary journey.
