James Beard Award semi-finalist Chef Christopher Kearse is no stranger to crafting a unique,French-forward menu with a twist,using seasonal,high-quality ingredients at his acclaimed restaurant Forsythia,since its opening in 2019.When asked by fellow Philadelphia-based Chefs Michael and Angie Sultan if he’d be interested in a takeover event at their flourishing South Philadelphia bar and restaurant,Chef Kearse happily obliged and began composing a menu melding the flavors of France and Japan into each and every dish.
