Nanu's Hot Chicken was founded in 2023 by brothers Ikram, Imran, Haroon, and Nanu Rashid. They were inspired by a passion for helping others and a love for Nashville hot chicken. The West Chester location is a partnership with father-son team Amjad and Jawad Ali, who bring their extensive experience in the food industry to the venture.

The West Chester Nanu's is unique, being the chain's first two-story location. The 4,000-square-foot space will initially offer seating for over 50 guests, with expansion plans. The design features colorful tables and chairs, sizeable 270-degree art murals with Philadelphia-inspired imagery, and a solar system-themed ceiling. An outdoor patio and shaded backyard, set to open later, will provide additional seating for 20+ people.
Rapid Expansion and Surprise Delaware Opening:
Nanu's Hot Chicken is on a rapid growth trajectory. In addition to the West Chester opening, Nanu's has announced the surprise opening of a new location in Wilmington, Delaware, at 414 N Union Street. The chain now boasts eleven locations across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and New York, with two more planned for the near future.
