Get Ready to Boo at the Zoo! Philadelphia Zoo's Halloween Extravaganza Returns
- Trick-or-Treat Safari: Grab your costumes and your treat bags! The Zoo will be transformed into a trick-or-treating paradise with stations scattered throughout the grounds. Zoo members even get an exclusive candy station!
- Festive Fall Fun: Enjoy the beautiful fall foliage and seasonal decorations while exploring the Zoo.
- Howl-oween Activities: Kids will love the special Howl-oween activities, including a skull-matching game with prizes and interactive games on Impala Lawn.
- Meet the Newest Zoo Babies: Don't miss the chance to see the adorable additions to the zoo family, including Jambi, the Sumatran orangutan, and the Zoo's first-ever baby red-tailed monkey!
- Pumpkin Feedings: Watch your favorite animals enjoy festive treats during scheduled pumpkin feedings throughout the day.
- Spooky Treats: Indulge in delicious Halloween-themed snacks and drinks, such as Mummy Dogs, pumpkin sundaes, and dirt cups.
Special Events:
Member Early Admission: Zoo members can enjoy early access on select dates (October 12, 20, and 27 at 8:30 am).
Sensory-Friendly Morning: ABA Centers of Pennsylvania will present a special sensory-friendly morning on Saturday, October 19, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
Don't Forget:
Costumes are encouraged (but please leave toy guns and weapons at home).
Reading Captains will be on hand to give out age-appropriate books.
