Square 1682 Relaunches Weekday Brunch Service

Long noted for business breakfast, power lunches, and signature craft cocktails in the afternoon and evenings, Square 1682 hit pause on some of its core programmings with the limitation of the pandemic. Now starting Thursday, August 12, the breakfast and lunch service is back.

Additionally, a brand-new menu of seasonal cocktails, courtesy of the on-site expert bartenders, puts forth a celebratory vibe as the first new craft cocktail menu from the bar once named Best Hotel Bar by USA Today® since the start of the pandemic.

Weekly Breakfast and lunch services are offered Tuesdays through Fridays from 9 am – 2 pm, with dinner service starting at 5 pm.

“The return of weekday breakfast and lunch service has been highly-anticipated not only by guests, but by myself, Chef [Mackenson Horebe], and our entire team,” said Daniel Tyrrell, General Manager of Square 1682. “We’re excited to extend our hours and, by doing so, welcome even more guests back to more traditional hours and offerings.”

A bevy of savory dishes from Chef Horebe includes stepped up brunch fare, and signature, fan-favorite Square 1682 offerings, such as:

  • Rittenhouse Omelet — Tomato, spinach, caramelized onions, white cheddar, and breakfast potatoes
  • Steak and Eggs — Chef's cut, sunny eggs, and breakfast potatoes
  • Waygu Burger ($17) — Seared double patty, hickory bacon, and cooper sharp, served with French fries
  • Bacon, Egg & Cheese ($16) — Rosemary biscuit, scrambled egg, cooper sharp cheddar, and breakfast potatoes

In addition to the return of weekday breakfast and lunch service, the expert bartenders at Square 1682 have crafted a brand-new menu of seasonal tipples for imbibers to sip on. The refreshing libations are perfect for quenching thirst during the scorching heat and include Kiwi Cooler composed of Smirnoff Vodka, lime, cucumber, simple syrup, soda, and garnished with fresh kiwi, and Come to Brazil crafted with Novo Fogo Cachaca, blueberry, jalapeño, sugar, and topped off with lime.
