This year features a lineup of huge outdoor celebrations, turning city streets and squares into lively German villages.

  • The 17th Annual South Street Oktoberfest, presented by Brauhaus Schmitz, returns on September 27th as the region's largest celebration,taking over the 700 block of South Street with seating for a thousand revelers.
  • Across the river,the8th Annual Oktoberfest on the Square in Westmont, NJ, on September 20th, will feature a massive tent, a traditional pig roast, and live music, promising an authentic German festival atmosphere.
  • In Fishtown,theFrankford Hall Oktoberfest on September 20th will shut down the 1200 block of Frankford Avenue for a family and dog-friendly street party with live music from the Polka Brothers.
  • The13th Annual Roxtoberfest on October 4th will bring a traditional German beer fest feel to Ridge Avenue, complete with circus performers, food trucks, and a classic car show.

Brewery-Hosted Celebrations

  • Yards Brewing Company will host its Oktoberfest on September 27th, opening up parts of its brewing facility to the public. The ticketed event includes an exclusive 0.5-liter stein, German-inspired beers, and a stein-holding competition.
