Two Festivals, One Massive Event
This year marks an exciting collaboration between the Roxborough Development Corporation and the Roxborough Ridge Runners Car Club.
- Spring Fest (11 AM - 6 PM): Occupying Ridge Avenue from Green Lane to Hermitage Street, this section will feature over 80 local artisans and makers, delicious food from 12+ food trucks and participating Ridge Avenue restaurants, craft beverages from New Ridge Brewing Company and Top Dog Cocktails, three stages of live music and entertainment, unique interactive art activations, and a dedicated Kid's Zone.
- Rockin' the Ridge Car Show (11 AM - 3 PM): Extending the festival footprint, this classic car showcase will line Ridge Avenue from Hermitage Street to Fountain Street, right in front of Gorgas Park. Expect over 70 classic and custom cars, a live DJ, vendors, raffles, auctions, and 114 prize categories. Car show awards begin at 2:00 PM.
A Feast for All Senses
Attendees are in for a treat with a wide array of offerings:
- Food & Drink: Sample diverse eats from food trucks like Deke's BBQ, Humpty's Dumplings, Cousins Maine Lobster, Gigi & Big R, Molto Bene! Ravioli Co., and many more, plus local restaurant participation. Enjoy local brews, cocktails, and other beverages.
- Live Music: Enjoy continuous entertainment across three staging areas, including the West Philadelphia Orchestra kicking things off with a second line, local bands curated by RoxYunk Porchfest (like The Honey Badgers and Blank Pages), community performances, and headliners like the Mitchell Street Philbillies.
- Arts & Crafts: Shop unique, handmade goods from over 80 vendors, watch live pottery demonstrations by Edna Rambo, get a custom flower crown from Serene & Green, meet artists at the Art on the Ridge tent, and even have a poem written on the spot by the Dream Poet.
- Family Fun: Head to the Roxborough Pocket Park for the dedicated Kid's Zone featuring Flyleaf the Book Fairy, enjoy circus arts performers, play MGMT Mini Golf, and check out the "Art in Motion" Student Art Show.
Community Celebration
"By uniting Spring Fest and Rockin’ the Ridge, we’re creating a vibrant, dynamic experience that truly reflects the heart of Roxborough," said Jax Cusack, Executive Director of the Roxborough Development Corporation.
