Patti LaBelle is a force that cannot be described as beautiful. The soulful singer's name is now synonymous with elegance, class, grace, and style as the year's progress. She is renowned for her versatility, which she has achieved by belting out rhythm and blues classics, pop standards, and spiritual sonnets.

Patti is so busy recording and touring that it's amazing she has time left for anything else. But she does, and the world loves her for it! Patti has published six books: Don't Block the Blessings; LaBelle Cuisine: A Recipes to Sing About, Patti's Pearls; Patti LaBelle’s Lite Cuisine; Recipes for the Good Life, and Desserts LaBelle. Patti recently released the 20th-anniversary edition of LaBelle Cuisine. It features three new recipes.

Patti also appeared in films and TV shows such as A Soldier's Story and A Different World. She has also starred in Out All Night, her television series. She has also wowed audiences with her performances on the hit TV shows Dancing with the Stars, The Masked Singer, and Broadway productions Your Arms Are Too Short To Box with God, Fela, and After Midnight.

She introduced Patti's Good Life in 2007, a food and lifestyle brand offering various frozen comfort foods, desserts, and breakfast items, including her famous sweet potato pie. Patti's Good Life is sold at many retailers in the United States, including Walmart and Target. Patti is always up for a challenge. In 2017, she launched her own record label GPE Records, and released her debut jazz album, Bel Hommage.

Patti is not only an entertainer and author but also a humanitarian. She strongly advocates for many causes, including adoption, diabetes and cancer. Patti has not only achieved success in her career of 60 years but has also overcome personal struggles. In a 10-year span, Patti lost her mother, three sisters, and her best friend to cancer and diabetes. She was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in 1994 and became the spokesperson for American Diabetes Association shortly after.

The same drive that made Patricia Louise Holte grow from a choir to a lead vocalist with Patti LaBelle & The Bluebelles, and then Labelle to a solo singer, is also the motivation that keeps her flame burning at age seventy-eight. "Each new year, I get better and better. That's a gift from God. I do what I can do. I sing because it's what I have to do. I'm not interested in making money. I'm just singing. "With or without a voice, I must get up on that stage." The world is grateful that Patti's vocals are so beautiful.
