PHILADELPHIA, PA  - Two iconic Philadelphia brands have joined forces to create the ultimate summer cool-down menu. HipCityVeg, the city's beloved plant-based fast-casual eatery, has partnered with Bassetts Ice Cream, America's oldest ice cream company, to launch a new line of delicious, dairy-free frozen treats. The collaboration, which officially kicked off this week, features Bassetts' tangy and tropical mango-apricot sorbet as the star ingredient in three unique drink creations.

The new menu was developed in a true Philly partnership, with the HipCityVeg culinary team working directly with Bassetts President, Alex Bassett Strange, to perfect the recipes. The collaboration brings together a modern, plant-based pioneer and a historic Philadelphia institution, resulting in a menu that's both nostalgic and refreshingly modern.

Introducing the New Frozen Treats:

Available now at all Philadelphia HipCityVeg locations, the new menu offers three distinct and delicious ways to enjoy the Bassetts mango-apricot sorbet:

For those who prefer to keep it simple, all HipCityVeg Philly locations will also offer scoops of Bassetts' mango-apricot sorbet on its own.

The collaboration launched with a festive, free pop-up event on Tuesday, July 22nd, outside the HipCityVeg Rittenhouse Square location (127 S 18th Street). Crowds gathered as free samples of the new menu items were served from a classic Bassetts ice cream cart, officially kicking off the summer partnership.

This exciting team-up between HipCityVeg and Bassetts Ice Cream offers a perfect solution for the dog days of summer. It's a delicious celebration of local flavor and innovation, providing Philadelphians with a new and exciting way to enjoy plant-based frozen treats.
