Little Walter's Celebrates One-Year Anniversary

Since opening, Little Walter’s has made a significant impact on Philadelphia's dining scene, earning national acclaim with two recognitions from The New York Times in 2024 as one of America’s best restaurants and for serving one of the year's best dishes. This anniversary dinner is a celebration for both the team and the loyal patrons who have supported them.

The special tasting menu highlights Chef Brenfleck's creative and hyper-seasonal approach, transforming the humble pierogi into a canvas for culinary artistry. The delectable eight-course journey begins with Chleb z Pierogiem (a bread course featuring a potato milk bun, caramelized onion rugelach, and sour cream biscuits) and is followed by seven unique pierogi offerings:

  • Pierogi z Kawioreum: A delicate creation with trout roe, horseradish consommé, and sunflower seed.
  • Pierogi z Boczekiem: A savory bite of bacon marmalade, heirloom tomato, everything spice, and arugula aioli.
  • Pierogi Leniwe: Featuring golden cherry, snap peas, oszczypek fondue, and paprika.
  • Pierogi z Wątróbką: An indulgent pierogi with foie gras, sour cherry kompot, and a black walnut tuile.
  • Pierogi Warzywami: Combining turnip greens with smoked steelhead trout, fennel, and dill.
  • Uszka z Grzybami: A rich, umami-packed dumpling with pioppino mushroom, dry-aged NY strip, summer truffle jus, and soubise.
  • Pierogi z Serem: A cheese course featuring aged farmers cheese with a beet and rhubarb water ice and mint.
  • Pierogi z Jagodami: A sweet finale in the form of a blueberry hand pie with cultured ice cream and pickled green strawberry.

This coveted tasting experience is priced at $100 per person, offering a unique opportunity to explore the incredible versatility of the pierogi through the lens of one of Philly's most exciting chefs.

Reservations are required for this one-night-only anniversary event and are expected to fill up quickly. Bookings can be made via OpenTable.
