PHILADELPHIA, PA - Get ready, Fishtown! Emmett, the exciting new restaurant from Chef Evan Snyder and managing partner Julian van der Tak, will open its doors at 161 W. Girard Ave (corner of Hancock Street) on Tuesday, January 28th, at 5 p.m.

Emmett offers a unique culinary experience, blending the vibrant flavors of the Levantine region with influences from across the Mediterranean. Think wood-fired cooking with French, Italian, North African, and Middle Eastern accents.

Here's what you can expect:

  • Evolving Menu: A constantly changing selection of crudos, fresh pasta, coal-roasted proteins, and seasonal desserts. A tasting menu will be introduced in the future.
  • Inviting Atmosphere: 38 indoor seats, including eight at a stylish bar overlooking the open kitchen. Outdoor seating will be available in the spring.
  • Craft Beverages: A full bar featuring natural wines, culinary-driven cocktails, and a thoughtful non-alcoholic beverage program.

  • Small Bites: Rye Tartlet with Wagyu, Maryland crab maloof with uni, and Winter Squash Toast with butternut 'nduja.
