Honoring Local Businesses and Celebrating Iconic Flavors

This year's Flavored by Philly contest highlights the creativity and diversity of Philadelphia's culinary landscape by partnering with three small businesses known for their iconic dishes:

  1. Talluto's: Cheese Ravioli and Marinara: This flavor pays homage to Talluto's, a pasta institution since 1967. The chip captures the essence of their beloved cheese ravioli, combining the rich flavors of cheese and tangy marinara sauce.
  2. Mom Mom's Kitchen: Potato Pierogi: It is renowned for its homemade comfort food and lends its signature potato pierogi flavor to this unique chip. The result is a harmonious blend of sweet, creamy, and tangy notes that evoke warmth and nostalgia.
  3. Romano's Stromboli: Special Hot: A Philadelphia icon since 1950, Romano's Stromboli inspires this spicy chip flavor. It packs a punch with a savory fusion of cheese, heat, and traditional spices, perfectly encapsulating the city's bold spirit.

"We are thrilled to showcase the incredible flavors of Philadelphia's small businesses through our Flavored by Philly contest," said Ed Herr, Chairman and CEO of Herr's. "Each chip flavor is a testament to the passion and dedication of these local culinary heroes, and we can't wait for everyone to try them."
