About Regulo Reyes

Regulo Reyes (Owner, Operating Partner, Chef) - Reyes has over 27 years of experience in the restaurant industry. Regulo began his career at Caffe Aldo Lamberti in 1993 shortly after immigrating to the United States, where he served as the Sous Chef from 1998 - 2003 and found his passion for cooking.
Regulo has also served as the Executive Chef of Positano Coast by Aldo Lamberti from 2012-2016 and is the current owner of La Cita Authentic Mexican Food, which he opened with his wife Olivia Reyes in 2012. Regulo resides in Cherry Hill, NJ with his wife and their two children.
Aldo Lamberti and Reyes started working together over twenty-five years ago at Caffe Aldo Lamberti. Reyes quickly became Sous Chef at the restaurant, before becoming Executive Chef at Positano Coast by Aldo Lamberti from 2012-2016. Aldo and Regulo took over Pizza Fresca by Lamberti in 2017 and operated it together until they were forced to close it during the pandemic in 2020. When the opportunity to lease a new space came about, they decided to take it, but this time with the intention of offering a new concept that seemed more fitting to what people want now, which is fast service, healthy foods that are ready to take home and heat as well as convenience.
