Two Ways to Give Back

The Manayunk Wingwomen initiative supports two vital Philadelphia organizations:

  • Grab-N-Flow: All physical donations are given to this South Philly-born initiative, which stocks no-charge community sheds with menstrual and postpartum supplies.
  • Women Against Abuse: Participating businesses are also collecting monetary donations for the city’s leading domestic violence advocate and service provider, which helps over 10,000 individuals annually.

Essential Items Needed

Many of these necessities are expensive and often out of reach for those in need. The following items are being prioritized for collection:

  • Menstrual Health: Pads (the highest need!), pregnancy tests, and tampons.
  • Postpartum Care: Prenatal vitamins, witch hazel pads, stool softeners, numbing spray, postpartum adult diapers, and underwear.
  • Baby Essentials: Diapers (all sizes) and unopened baby formula.

A"Sticker"of Appreciation: As a special thank you, everyone who makes a donation will receive a custom "Manayunk Wingwoman" vinyl stickerto show their community pride.

The Big Surprise:A New Resource for Manayunk

Due to the overwhelming success of the program in previous years, the organizers have announced a permanent addition to the neighborhood. In partnership with theNorth Light Community Center, Manayunk will officially launch its own Grab-N-Flow distribution shedinApril 2026.

This local resource will allow neighbors to both give and receive support anonymously, ensuring that essential hygiene products stay within the surrounding community.
