Bolo Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with Fan-Favorite Suckling Pig Dinner

Philadelphia,PA – Bolo, Philadelphia's vibrant Latin American dining room and rum bar, helmed by two-time James Beard Awards semifinalist Chef Yun Fuentes, is set to commemorate Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 - October 15) with a special offering. Guests are invited to indulge in the restaurant's highly anticipated, fan-favorite Suckling Pig Dinner,knowing that their meal will also contribute to a worthy cause:the Norris Square Neighborhood Project.

The centerpiece of this month-long celebration is Bolo’s renownedSuckling Pig Dinner. This impressive feast features a slow-roasted whole pig,meticulously marinated with achiote,oregano,garlic,and sour orange,ensuring a tender and incredibly flavorful experience.The dinner is served family-style and begins with a refreshingverde salad, accompanied by essential Latin American staples: savory rice, gandules bean stew, sweet maduros,and satisfyingmofongo. For the duration of Hispanic Heritage Month, this lavish dinner will be specially priced at just $50 per person(a remarkable $65 per person value),offered in addition to Bolo’s robust and ultra-seasonal regular dinner menu.

To further elevate the celebration,Bolo Rum Bar will introduce two spirited sippers crafted exclusively for Hispanic Heritage Month.Guests can enjoy theSuavecito ($15), a smooth concoction of Diplomático Mantuano Rum, dry vermouth, guava, lemon, simple syrup, and peach bitters. Alternatively, the Boléro($15)offers a vibrant blend of El Jimador Silver Tequila,Herradura Reposado Tequila,Lillet,pineapple,lime,simple syrup,and angostura bitters.

Beyond the culinary delights,Bolo is proud to partner with theNorris Square Neighborhood Project, a Philadelphia-based nonprofit organization dedicated to celebrating Puerto Rican culture and inspiring the community through youth-focused leadership programs. From Monday, September 15, through Wednesday, October 15, Bolo will donate $1 from each featured cocktail soldand15%of all sales from the Suckling Pig Dinner directly to this impactful organization.
