NEW JERSEY - Lazy Dog Restaurants, the beloved casual dining chain known for its innovative twists on American comfort food and inviting atmosphere, is set to open its doors in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, in fall 2025. This marks the brand's second venture into the Garden State, following the announcement of a Moorestown location also slated for 2025.

Taking over the former Houlihan's restaurant space at Mercer on One, a premier shopping destination operated by Federal Realty Investment Trust, Lazy Dog will offer a unique dining experience for both locals and visitors alike.

A Taste of Wyoming in New Jersey

Chris Simms, the founder and CEO of Lazy Dog Restaurants, expressed his excitement about joining the Lawrenceville community, stating, "We look forward to bringing our concept of delicious food, warm hospitality, and small mountain-town vibes to Mercer on One. Lazy Dog has been received with open arms as we've joined new neighborhoods, and we can't wait to be part of this community."

The restaurant's warm and inviting interior will transport diners to a cozy mountain lodge with lodge-inspired furnishings and artwork reminiscent of Wyoming. A spacious outdoor patio, featuring a welcoming fire pit, will provide the perfect setting for gatherings with friends and family.

Culinary Delights and Craft Beverages

Lazy Dog's menu is a celebration of comfort food with a creative twist, highlighting seasonal ingredients and innovative flavor combinations. From hearty burgers and sandwiches to savory pastas and fresh salads, there's something to satisfy every craving.

The bar program is equally impressive, boasting a wide selection of handcrafted cocktails and craft beers. Their Lazy Dog Beer Club, a quarterly membership offering exclusive beer recipes and perks, is popular for beer enthusiasts. Additionally, their Lazy Dog Campfire Club™ rewards program offers monthly benefits for frequent diners.
