Latino Influences at Philadelphia Christmas Village

PHILADELPHIA, PA – November 9, 2023 – Esperanza Housing & Economic Development is bringing the spirit of Latino culture and holiday traditions to Love Park with El Kiosko Navideño. This Christmas Village kiosk will feature six vendors from Puerto Rico, Mexico, Colombia, and Venezuela offering original art work, traditional dishes, and clothing.

“We are excited to share the Latino Holiday spirit in the heart of our city. With a population of 20% Latinos and a large regional presence we know Latinos should be included in events that show the best Philly has to offer. Additionally, we hope that people who may not know about how Latino culture is during the holidays, get a sneak peak into the festivities," says Rafael Alvarez Febo, Vice President for Advocacy and Community Development for Esperanza.

El Kiosko Navideño will showcase Café Tinto Nov 27th-Dec 3rd and Dec 11th-17th; Amy’s Pastelillos Dec 4th-10th and Dec 18th-24th; Art by Sir Dec 16th-17th and Dec 23rd-24th; Latin Fashion Nov 18th-19th and Dec 2nd-3rd; Association of Mexican Business Owners Nov 23rd - 26th.
