PHOENIXVILLE, PA / PHILADELPHIA, PA — As Philadelphia takes center stage for the nation’s 250th anniversary, a provocative new exhibition is set to open at The Print Center (1614 Latimer Street), offering a timely lens on the evolving state of American democracy.

Opening April 24, 2026, America Today: Voices in Contemporary Print brings together the works of more than 30 artists from across the United States. The collection explores the core principles of the American experiment, including civil rights, social justice, and political engagement, through the unique medium of printmaking.

A National Collaboration

The exhibition is a bridge between the country’s founding past and its complex present. The featured works were developed through six of the nation’s leading print workshops, representing a diverse geographical and cultural cross-section of the American landscape:
