"Northern Liberties is proud to present our largest holiday weekend line-up ever... This is the most wonderful time of year when our entire community comes together to share the spirit of the season and there's festive happenings for everyone of all ages," said NLBID Executive Sydney Rexroad.
The Holiday Pop-up Market: A Hub for Local Gifts
The Holiday Pop-up Market will take over the former Heritage space at 914 N. 2nd Street, featuring over a dozen artists, makers, and merchants offering gifts for everyone—including pets.
- Family Fun: Sponsor Amazon Fresh is providing complimentary ornament making for the first 100 children each day, plus holiday souvenirs (beads, bells, and other fun stocking stuffers) for the first 200 children daily.
- Vendors: The combined two dozen vendors over the weekend include Piggy Back Treats, Jawnaments, Mohr Does Art, Fishtown Pickle Project, and Random Tea Room.
Shop, Stroll, and Win
The Northern Liberties Holiday Shopping Stroll invites patrons to explore more than a dozen participating businesses across the neighborhood. Shoppers receive a map and a complimentary punch card to enter for prizes donated by local Northern Liberties businesses.
- How to Win: Get six punches on your card by visiting participating shops. Each stop earns a punch (no purchase necessary). Spending $20 or more earns an added bonus punch, and spending $100 earns an entire punched card. The final deadline for dropping off completed cards at the Pop-Up Market is 4 PM on Sunday, December 14.
- Participating Shops: Stores like City Planter, Dames Vintage Emporium, Ray’s Reusables, and Trunc will all offer special sales, samples, or surprises during the stroll hours. Ray’s Reusables will host a stocking stuffer sale on Saturday and a local baker on Sunday.
The weekend is positioned as a massive effort to encourage residents and visitors alike to shop local and support small businesses during the holiday season.
