Founded by Tony Pham and Rich Reyes, Mecha has become a staple for those seeking "craveable" takes on pho, ramen, and bao. This April, they are inviting the community to gather for shared meals that support a great local cause.
The Lineup: Six Ways to Celebrate
Whether you are a traditionalist or a plant-based diner, the National Ramen Day menu offers something for every palate. The featured varieties include:
- Tonkotsu 3.0: A rich, Hakata-style pork ramen topped with chashu, chicharron, corn, tamago, and peppered cabbage.
- Kinoko Vegan: A deep, earthy mushroom dashi base with shiitake salad, shio kombu, and beech mushrooms.
- Curry Laksa: A vibrant coconut curry broth finished with basil oil, fried tofu, and mushrooms.
- Shoyu Paitan: A chicken-based broth featuring black garlic, nori, and tamago.
Make it Yours: Diners can personalize their experience with a wide array of add-ons, including extra noodles, chili oil, menma (bamboo shoots), and more.
Eat Justice: Dining with a Mission
At Mecha, the "Eat Justice" program ensures that every bowl served helps strengthen the neighborhood. For every ramen bowl sold on National Ramen Day (and every day), $0.50 is donated directly to House of Hope, Mecha’s local community partner.
Guests can find more details in the tabletop newsletter to see exactly how their meal is making a tangible impact on the lives of others in the community.
