Top Trumps USA, the company licensed by Hasbro to create the official MONOPOLY: Philadelphia Edition, has issued a "final countdown" warning. Residents have until February 28 to nominate the local businesses, nonprofits, and landmarks that will be immortalized on the board when it hits shelves later this year.

The "Philly-fication" of a Classic

This isn't just a sticker slap. This is a bespoke version of the world's most famous board game that will completely replace the classic Atlantic City squares with Philadelphia icons.

According to Tim Barney, a representative for Top Trumps, the team is in the "home stretch" of the selection process. They are looking for authenticity—places that scream "Philly" to the people who actually live here, not just the tourists.
