PHILADELPHIA - Where Do the Philadelphia Eagles Play? The Philadelphia Eagles host home games at Lincoln Financial Field, a multi-use stadium located in downtown Philadelphia. Their city and state rival, Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball share this facility; fans affectionately refer to it as "The Linc", while all agree it has been an improvement over Veterans Stadium which it replaced.

On September 8, 2003, the Eagles held their inaugural game at Lincoln Financial Field against Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Monday Night Football action - now known as "Inaugural Game". This occasioned much celebration.

Few years later, Donovan McNabb and Freddie Mitchell created what has since been known as "The Miracle on 4th and 26." With no timeouts remaining late in the fourth quarter, this play preserved Eagles victory - still considered to be among their finest moments in franchise history.

Philadelphia Eagles fans are legendary. Over two dozen times they've appeared in the playoffs and earned fifteen division titles along the way, while also becoming one of only six NFL teams ever to capture a Super Bowl - in 2018 thanks to a stellar performance by backup quarterback Nick Foles.

In 2023, the Eagles will look to return to prominence. Led by an experienced roster and Jalen Hurts as their young quarterback, this squad could become one of the powerhouses of the NFC Conference.
