PHILADELPHIA, PA - On Saturday, September 14, 2024, the Philadelphia Police Department (PPD) will partner with community organizations to host the 10th annual Project Blue Light Bike Ride and Wellness Fair. This event is open to all sworn and professional PPD staff members and their families.

A Day of Remembrance and Resources

This gathering provides a unique opportunity to:

Learn about available resources: Discover the various support systems for PPD members.
Honor fallen colleagues: Pay tribute to those who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
Enjoy family-friendly entertainment: Participate in fun activities suitable for all ages.

Spreading Awareness about Mental Health

A central goal of Project Blue Light is to address the alarmingly high suicide rate within the law enforcement community. The event aims to reduce stigma and encourage open conversations about mental health.

Bike Ride Details

While the bike ride is optional, those who wish to participate can choose between a 10-mile or 20-mile course. Even if you don't ride, you can still attend the Wellness Fair and other activities.

Mark your calendars for September 14th and come together to support the well-being of our PPD members.
