PHILADELPHIA - The Mexican food cart has been open since September 2020, and in September, the restaurant will expand to a brick-and-mortar location at 413 E. Girard Street, formerly Sketch Burger. Owners Rebecca Baez and Omar Martinez have partnered with Chef Jean-Paul Viera to open the newest La Chingonita.
The restaurant seats about 30 guests. You can try the tacos by ordering the Try It All box, which includes two of each: vegan and beef. You can also try the classic tortas. The Try It All Box is $55, and you'll be able to sample several different dishes in this Mexican eatery.
